George Goldhoff – President & CEO
George Goldhoff is President and CEO of PURE Canadian Gaming based in Edmonton, Alberta. He brings to the casino and hospitality industry a wide range of experience and expertise.
George was recruited to assist in the opening of Steve Wynn’s, Bellagio, the first Five Diamond casino resort in Las Vegas. He continued to work with MGM Corporation at the Four Diamond Mississippi property, Beau Rivage Resort and Casino, and later became General Manager of Goldstrike Hotel and Casino in Tunica, Mississippi.
Through his career George has also had the privilege to lead teams at some of the most iconic hospitality venues such as The Rainbow Room and The Plaza Hotel in New York.
George is a graduate from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York.
Anna Borissova – Chief Financial Officer
As Pure Canadian Gaming’s Chief Financial Officer, Anna’s responsibilities are to manage all financial risks, planning, and reporting as well as IT for the entire organization.
She brings a wealth of hospitality experience spending over 14 years with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide in both hotels and at the corporate level, finishing with the company as Director of Finance and IT of the Sheraton Gateway Toronto. Her most recent role was served as Corporate Director of Operations Finance and Accounting, where she had direct supervision and management of financial statements, IT systems, budgets, forecasting, efficiency improvement, organizational restructuring and strategic planning for Delta’s 30 hotels.
Anna has earned her Master’s degree in Statistics and Econometrics, and over the past 5 years has taught Management and Financial Accounting at the Schulich University School of Business. She is a Certified Management Accountant and a Chartered Professional Accountant of Ontario.
Suzanne Lalonde – Vice President/General Manager, Casino Calgary
Suzanne began her casino career in the UK and traveled the world extensively, setting up and operating casinos throughout Europe, Australia, the Caribbean, the Middle East and Canada.
The foundation to her effective leadership was acquired through decades of personal commitment, a passion for the casino industry and continuous professional development under the umbrella of Caesars’, Harrah’s, Sheraton and Casino’s Austria International.
Suzanne is recognized and proven to be a skilled and experienced casino operator with over twenty five years of national and international experience leading casino operations teams in Casino Gaming Operations, Marketing & Promotions, Business Development, Exceptional Service Experiences, Security & Surveillance, Human Resources, Facilities Management as well as Food and Beverage Operations.
Suzanne graduated from the South Manchester College of Business with her diploma in Business Administration.
Jeff Craik – Vice President/Regional General Manager, Casino Edmonton/Casino Yellowhead
Jeff joins the team with over 20 years of experience in Finance and Marketing in the gaming industry, holding progressively senior roles with Casino Rama, ONEX Corporation and as a Marketing & Casino Operations Consultant. With focus on employee engagement, organizational brand recognition and reputation, Jeff builds exceptionally high performing teams and brings a true passion for growing our business. His expertise and knowledge in Loyalty Programs, Advertising and Branding, Leadership & Team Development, Special Events, VIP Programs and Casino Analytics make him a tremendous addition to our team.
As Vice President, Regional General Manager, Casino Edmonton and Casino Yellowhead, Jeff is responsible for all aspects of daily management and operations for both Edmonton properties.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick, a Master of Business Administration from Schulich School of Business at York University and an Executive Leadership Certification from Queen’s University.
Greg Van Stone – General Manager, Casino Lethbridge
Greg has over 20 years of Food & Beverage management experience, much of it in casino environments such as Maryland Live! Casino in Hanover, Maryland and Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Since joining Pure Canadian Gaming in 2013, Greg has been responsible for all F&B operations including but not limited to: employees at all four sites, marketing, sales financials, money security, implementation plans, general business development, training, cost controls, guest and employee satisfaction.
His abilities to connect and communicate, and to train and develop his teams are instrumental in building our success at Pure Canadian Gaming. Through his consistent leadership excellence, in 2017 Greg was promoted to lead the team at Casino Lethbridge as General Manager. As General Manager of Casino Lethbridge, Greg is responsible for all aspects of daily management and operations
He graduated from Texas State University and holds a BBA with a concentration in Management.
Sandra Legere – Vice President Human Resources
Since joining PURE Canadian Gaming, Sandra been actively involved in developing and implementing PURE’s Human Resource strategies and initiatives across four casino properties.
As Vice President of Human Resources, Sandra is responsible for all aspects of recruitment, training, employee engagement and team member development.
Prior to joining PURE Canadian Gaming, Sandra’s Human Resources experience included single and multi-unit environments such as Recruitment Manager for Convergys and District People Manager with Walmart Canada Corp.
Vince Pao – Executive Director, Marketing
Since joining Pure Canadian Gaming, Vince has been actively involved in developing and promoting the new Pure Canadian Gaming brand, providing strategic multi-market plans to attract new customers, improving services and creating market awareness at our four properties.
As Executive Director of Marketing, Vince is responsible for advertising, branding, public relations, promotions, communications, casino programs, entertainment, and special events at each property.
Bringing over 10 years of senior level marketing experience to Pure Canadian Gaming, Vince initially honed his craft as Public Relations & Marketing Manager with global furniture brand IKEA. His passion for gaming was ignited when he entered the casino industry with Eagle River Casino & Travel Plaza before moving on to manage River Cree Resort & Casino’s marketing, entertainment and promotions programs.
Vince holds a BA from the University of Alberta and studied his Public Relations Diploma at MacEwan University.
Tony Chen – Director of Business Development
Tony joined Pure Canadian Gaming in 2013, and has been focused on enhancing the growth of gaming revenues through the development of high value customers, including the capture of market share from existing competitors.
He also maintains Pure Canadian Gaming’s player database and monitors players’ visits and preferences, to tailor marketing campaigns, craft the player experience, develop relationships and ensure return visits.Tony has over 15 years of experience in the casino gaming industry from various roles including Games Manager, when he managed onboard casinos for Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity cruise lines. Tony also most recently worked at Gateway Casinos Alberta as Business Development Manager.
Tony studied Business Management at Douglas College in British Columbia.
Sam Lilly –Regional Director, Surveillance & Gaming Compliance
Sam has extensive experience in the Casino Surveillance sector filling positions ranging from Front-line, Supervisor, Manager, and Director, and has developed knowledge and an understanding of operations through heavy involvement in, training, and participation beyond the surveillance room walls.
Sam began his career in British Columbia working with the Edgewater Casino based in Vancouver. After moving to Alberta, Sam worked with the River Cree Resort & Casino where he was a member of the surveillance management team.
Sam joined Pure Canadian Gaming in late 2012 and began building and supporting a culture of conscientious customer service standards, efficiency, employee satisfaction, and employee growth while responsible for regulatory compliance and game protection.
Sam’s passion is in developing employees, improving the customer experience, and creating an environment that is focused on integrity, enthusiasm, positive attitudes and team work.
